Editorial
The Trans Secretariat of ILGA is pleased to introduce the new Bulletin "T-informa", a space for participation and reflection on trans (transexual, transgender, transvestite and intersexual) identity. We seek to create a space --through the publication of articles, brief descriptions of books and cultural activities, as well as biographical information from a diverse range of people-- that gives voice to trans people and those who have collaborated with, and fought for, their social recognition.
This Bulletin also offers an interchange of opinions on issues of collective interest and pays special attention to urgent issues, such as human rights violations of trans people and actions taken to counter them.
We hope that you make this space yours and help us to build and harness its potential as a forum of political action. This starts with your contributions, collaborations and opinions.

Bresia Mejía Valdera, a trans person who was assassinated 15 of November of 2007. Valdera was killed by three subjects who carried knifes.

Alex is an adolescent and intersexual, who has been raised as a girl; nevertheless, this film shows the story of her adolescence and the emotional experiences and context, which contribute to her dilemma, which will determine her future.
